About Us

Stephanie Bassler and Peter Reynolds have worked together for seven years, first as employees of Ashokan Architecture & Planning in Kingston, and now as co-founders of North River Architecture & Planning, PC. During this period of time they have collaborated on many significant projects, which you can learn about on the Projects page.

As Principal of NRAP, Stephanie will pursue projects with the common thread of sustainable design and community significance. As Senior Designer, Peter will exercise his considerable talent in the artistry and craft of building design, and in conceptual design and large-scale community planning.

Their design work respects the Hudson Valley's regional building styles and patterns, and complements those with modern design ideas, emerging building technologies, and sustainable practices.
